Very nice lighthouse to visit with the family. Get ready to exercise if you plan on climbing to the top, it's 199 steps but well worth it. The views up top are breathless.
Open during the winter. It was fun. 2 small kids, myself and the wife, walked up to the lamp room. Windy as heck out on the lamp deck, but so much fun. I thought it was just a slight bit pricey, but my 2 year old was free.
Plenty of parking a few nice trails an observation deck to view all the local birds plenty of helpful workers. As for the lighthouse if you want to climb it be prepared to pay $8 for an adult and $5 for a child. But if you're in the area I would recommend making the stop
Great place for a short day trip. Climbing to the top of the lighthouse is always fun as well as adventuring down the few hiking trails that are around
Such a fun place to visit and such a nice lighthouse! It offers amazing views and the history behind it is quite intriguing. The Barnegat Lighthouse is also amazing, but for those who are scared of heights the Cape May lighthouse is much more tranquil. I highly recommend coming in the evenings as the photography is great from this vantage point.
